RUGER MINI 30

This is a Ruger Mini-30.
It shoots the same ammunition as an ak47. This gun was introduced in 1973 and has been widely available ever since. It accepts high capacity detachable magazines and fires in semi-auto fashion.

Back when Walmart and most hardware stores carried guns This rifle was almost always present on the shelf.

These weapons have been common and popular in America long before school shootings started happening.

The availability of guns is not causing people to commit murder. Guns have always been easy to get here. Politicians pushing gun grab laws are selling fear, but they are not solving problems
needed $800 for it thanks

The mini 30 is and was a stupid idea and the rifle is a piece of crap.

There, now there is something right about this thread.

Ha ha Tolglass. Thank you for your opinion. They have been out since 1973, and I checked all the pawnshops in Fairbanks, lots of ARs and AKs, not one Mini 30. Pawnshops said they come in occasionally, but their owners never not get them out of pawn. That was my market research. If you have one you probably like it...
Was making a joke with a little experience , I never have fired a mini 30. I did however jones for a mini 14 for 20 years. About 10 years ago I finally got a mini 14. I have never been as disappointed in a rifle more than that mini 14, looked like Tarzan plaid like Jane. I traded the mini 14 away 8 days after buying it.

The first gun I ever bought was a 10/22, still have it, at least 50k rounds. I was 14 (confirmation present to myself) Still works great. I had my gunsmith go through it, fixed the trigger (NOS) it is ready for squirrels again. I bought a Mini 14 about 5 years later... fantastic lil rifle, perfect for jack rabbits in SW MN, and SE South Dakota. Coyotes too, but I would just chase them down with a pu then pop em with my 22 pistol.

I just bought my second 10/22 today. I’ve had a takedown since they came out. I stopped at my LGS this morning and he had a 10/22 with the M1 carbine tribute stock. Couldn’t resist so it came home with me.
