Russian Type 1
You should sell it to me.
You should sell it to me.
Not yet, but it will be soon 🔥 i was not sure if its russian type 1 so thats why i posted it here ✌🏻It is of lower end quality and is not collectable or worth much, I'd be happy to take it off your hands, lol.
Nice Type-1. Is it yours? If so, you scored.
Thanks for explanation, I will ask a seller for more details. Currently Im owning a AKS type 3 from 1958, so I'd like to add type 1 into my collection, but only if its right condition. I will keep you updatedWhen Type I rifles were produced the selector markings were very lightly marked with an awl. Most collectors call this style marking “Hen Scratching”. The rifle has a replacement butt stock & grip panels and modern FCG pins. Also the trunnion markings are stamped, this was done during a refurbishment, that included a refinish of the rifle. When this is done the selector markings become very light. This rifle has them, but it is hard to make out due to the poor quality of the photograph and they are partially obscured by the selector lever.

You better buy that thing and post some pictures
Thanks for a reply, I hope that I will manage to find some type 1 with this marking ...The selector markings were scratched lighter than the yrunnion was. It is very possible that at refurb it was reblued and the markings were lost.
