King Sports Imports. made in 1993 as a 'sporter' for export to the U.S. by Norinco which was a Gov owned arms company.
Dull stainless bolt & carrier. Chrome barrel. 1.5mm receiver, later version blued steel, neutered front end..but still built to last forever! If it still has the original chicom double hook FCG, they are far smoother than most, no need to upgrade there imho.

Agreed with the above regarding 99% chance its a slant cut (rear of receiver under the trunnion) so if wanting to convert back to original configuration (chu wood stock set) its going to be a real challenge...

The only entity making slant cut wood stocks for these is Ironwood, but they are in birch wood w/ orange tinting but have similar cut, angle, etc as originals, its close but not exact. Butt-plate on the IWD stock is ribbed or rubber, which is way wrong for both if wanting originality, but anyway...

Its a great rifle, becoming harder to find and certainly climbed in value past few years. It'd be even better if brought back to a more conventional configuration of wood, green canvas sling ( amazon), matched with chinese flat back mags, green canvas chest rig, etc.

Stainless? Did Ironwood reopen after the owner passed away?
