I got a free 5 gallon bucket full of AK parts including 2 receivers that were missing their front trunnions. One is a WASR, and the other has one very light factory stamp. Can anyone help out here? I'd like to know who made this. The trigger group is a nice forged set and the overall quality of manufacture seems good. It looks like a triangle with an F in it and some symbols under it. At first I thought they were #'s but now I'm not sure.
Typical Romanian proof mark not factory mark here is one example but their are more but usually the way they are stamped they are unreadable They can be found on Romanian sks before serial number and on butt stock.
Thank you! A PM-63 kit will be a good match then! Can't wait to rebuild this one, it cleaned up nicely after being in a bucket half full of water in the back of a pickup for several weeks, I also have the barrel assembly and bolt carrier, sadly no original bolt or trunnion, so complete kit it is.
