Muzzle break & flash hider

What's the best muzzle brake and flash hider?

The first prevents the rise of the barrel during rapid shooting, the second does exactly what it says it does...reduce the muzzle flash.

For.........................................................?
BTW........it's BRAKE not break.
I used to say it's either a brake or flash hider (not exactly PC). There are some combos out there now that actually do well for both....or about as close as one can get for one device. Realize that I'm not as concerned about flash as muzzle control.
DA Fighter brake is pretty good. The VG6 Epsilon is a bit better. Just my opinion and I've tested both (not so much for the flash). So long as the flash doesn't ruin my night vision I'm good. Most of my armadillo kills have been after dark.
To my thinking, flash will always exist. The question is.....from what perspective.....and how much concern. Brakes or mitigating recoil seem to be some good choices and effective. The typical slant brake is pretty good although many doubt me when I say that. Maybe it's as worthless as the bird cage on an AR15/M16. One can read numerous websites and watch plenty of videos these days to either dispel the myths, or go along with marketing hype. One can spend anywhere from $15 to over a $100 for a muzzle device that claims to do this or that. Most times it's either a brake or a flash suppressor. You, the end user needs to figure out which is most important for you and go from there. Most of the flash suppressors don't completely hide signature. Most videos will show that the first round and every other 3rd or 5th round shows flash. Snipers know the first shot gives you away much less subsequent shots from the same position.

Brake or Flash Hider, Ramrod gives a good description, although I am a little concerned with his Armadillo Obsession. CNC Warrior has a wide variety of both, the choice is up to you. I have used both.

A2 flash hider here.
Short, light, effective.

EDIT- and cheap.
Trouble is, CNCW has been out of stock forever. Can't seem to find one that isn't Tapco made.
This looks like a decent, and more "correct" alternative.

I have been using several of these and like them very much. Noticeable reduction in recoil. Takes a bit of time to fit one to an AK, but worth the effort. Makes for faster second shots for me.

I use a Griffin Armament. I had an A2 before that. There's a pretty big difference between the two.
I've never really been recoil-conscious and I believe I control my AKs just as well as I do any of my other weapons, so a muzzle brake has not been on my radar. However, muzzle flash has been. I've tried a number of different flash hiders for my rifles and have settled on the Liberty Suppressors Phoenix model for my AK rifles. Does an outstanding job and isn't too expensive at $40.
