Just purchased this and trying to figure out what year it was manufactured. All I know right now is it was built at the Izhmash machine plant.

Look on the other side of the receiver by the round circular marks, should be under one in 2 digit, mine Is a 2002. It is also the first 2 digits of my serial number on trunnion, yours must be a 2013.

That is one Sweet AK, and congrats on a great purchase. (y) Would it be a sin if I asked what you paid for it?

Thanks,
I'll check it out when I get home. I've been waiting to find a Russian made model for a while. I already had a WASR 10 and a one Century Arms "U.S."

I may have paid too much but I really wanted it. $2600 with the mags and bayonet included.

Been looking for a Russian made model for a while. Already had a WASR 10 and one Century Arms American built models.
Locate this stamping (photo below) you'll see 2 digits and they are the year.

(For example, this one below was assembled in 2002)

Thank you sir. I'm new to the forum and very much appreciate everyone's help.
