Circle 13?

1881 Views 7 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  Richard W.
I've just been offered a vintage ak, milled receiver, with a factory marking being a circle with number 13 inside.
Seller thinks it's Hungarian.

Anyone heard of this stamp?

Atm I can not provide any pics of it. Hope to receive some this evening.

Thanks in advance.

New one on me Photos will sure help and is it original receiver or a replacement that someone etched with that number?
Just sent me this:

Product Leg Floor Hardwood Chair
Trigger Airsoft gun
Trigger Metal
Gun Firearm Trigger Airsoft Airsoft gun

Fire selector reveals it as Hungarian, right?

Yes, Hungarian. Those marks on the right side are proofs. There will be a serial number on the left side, inside the lightening cut, but you can’t see it in that guy’s pictures.

Wait, FEG is (13)? Don't think I'd ever heard that designation for them before. Interesting...

I don’t believe that the circle-13 signifies the arsenal.

With the way it’s lumped in with that cluster of other stamps, I think it’s merely a proof mark or inspection stamp.
