This will be my last reply to this thread.

In case you missed it I've been thrown off the internet at work for anything "not work related."

This has happened several times before, but this was the big one and I won't be pushing the limits anymore. I barely kept my job this time.

This is after five years of pretty much getting to do it as much as I wanted.

Oh, well, Boss's mid-life crisis I guess. Don't want to bore you with the story, but all good things come to an end and just at a time when I was considering "thinning the herd" of my rifles and not thinking of guns as much of a hobby anymore I can't even surf my favorite forums except a couple times a week at home.

To make a long story short, I'm on dialup at home and won't be getting high speed. My Photobucket Pro account expires in December and will revert to a free account. I have way too many pics to keep them posted all over the place for a "free" account. Since I'm on dialup I can't look at my own thread anyway. So I'm not keeping all the pics uploaded to Photobucket.

I've offered to turn that account over to the mods and owners of this forum if they want to save the pics. So far no one has contacted me so I guess it's not that big a deal to them.

So if you want to save any of the pics DO IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Over the next few months I will slowly be deleting enough pics from my Photobucket account that I can still keep my free account.

I hope you guys enjoyed viewing the pics as much as I enjoyed searching for them, cropping and editing them, and posting them.

I am sad and really wish this could have gone on forever.

:animak:

Please save the pics. This is not about me. A lot of the pics have disappeared from the original sources, so the AKforum is the only place to still view some of them.

Sorry this happened.

Take care.

A police officer tries to secure an area inside the Westgate Shopping Centre where gunmen went on a shooting spree in Nairobi September 21, 2013. The gunmen stormed the shopping mall in Nairobi on Saturday killing at least 20 people in what Kenya's government said could be a terrorist attack, and sending scores fleeing into shops, a cinema and onto the streets in search of safety. Sporadic gun shots could be heard hours after the assault started as soldiers surrounded the mall and police and soldiers combed the building, hunting down the attackers shop by shop. Some local television stations reported hostages had been taken, but there was no official confirmation

Milled guns always issued with nuts not slant that is for AKM

Why again did the USA purchase those new Bulgy milled AK47s for the Iraqis instead of the cheaper and lighter stamped AKM? Also, why did the Bulgarians ship them with muzzle nuts instead of slant brakes?
